Digital storytelling is usually short stories of one’s experience: a vacation, about a best friend, a favorite pet, or you favorite parent, uncle, aunt or grandparent. At the digital storytelling workshop we will learn how to develop a story from beginning

to end, using either a computer or an iPad. Using these tools, we will put together parts that make up a story: a storyboard, pictures and images, and sound.  Digital storytelling is storytelling using all these materials that can be later saved in DVD, placed online, or watched from a computer or phone.

What you need:

-a laptop or an iPad (a laptop will be provided for those without)

-pictures or images, lots of them

-a cd-rom with your favorite music (optional)

-permission letter from a parent or guardian (dstpermission.pdf)
